Today (4/8) is the day for the solar eclipse. One person in Oregon won the $1.3 billion Power Ball Jackpot!!! I am recovering from food poison. I am sure it was the sliced ham I bought at Aldi, they surely did not keep it refrigerated all the time.

@LindaOHio well, I make it my way with a drained can of sauerkraut in the slow cooker, then a bit of water, chicken bouillon powder so no extra salt, and a spoonful of brown sugar, Then I put on some kind of smoked meat or the luncheon meat and after some hours it tastes great, There is a delicious version of Latvian sauerkraut that is made in a pot on a stove and cooked on low for most of the day but that should be made in quantity,

Well, it's been won. I'm hoping to see the eclipse. We have partly cloudy skies so it's a possibility. Yesterday was a potluck at church, so the food was a good mixture of pasta and salads with a slice of apple pie and spice cake thrown in. I tried to keep it under control. We'll see what the scale says this morning.

@LindaOHio It was. And the scale surprised me too by not going up too much. I'm glad you saw the eclipse on the weather channel. I saw some of it online too when I couldn't see it outside. No glasses, and the DIY thingy I made didn't work either.
