The finished hummingbird painting.

I finished the hummingbird painting yesterday. I finished the body off first with some more burgundy. I'd already added some yellow ochre to his front a few days earlier. I adjusted his face and added more white at the top. I also adjusted his tail and added more white. I let that dry. While that was drying I did some more to the berries. I'd already painted them in a few days earlier with gamboge and some others with a lighter colour. And I'd thinned out some of the stems because they looked too thick. Now I added a few red bits here and there, and I added some more berries that were covering the birds head. Then I went round putting dots on some of the berries. After that I added some grey at the top of the birds wing, and added darker purple bits to the smaller right hand wing. I waited for that to dry, then added patches of black to the left hand wing and a bit of blue to the white on the top of the head. Then I called it finished. What are you lot getting up to today?
