@LadyDuck Right, there's always that risk of hitting the wrong tissue or getting an infection. Even if the injection is successful the area will be swollen for a while, usually days if not weeks. Then the result lasts up to 6 months. Not worth trying.

@sabtraversa Correct, it has to be repeated every six months and after several treatment your skin feels like "plastic". A friend of my niece, in her mid 40, used A LOT of Botox, her face texture was like "gommapiuma".

No plastic surgery for me, I’m too afraid of anesthesia.
But I might get these staple gems (like little rhinestones) on the side of my face.. maybe just 3 of them. They last 2-3 months and then you have them removed for a week and put back in if you wish.
It’s very similar to getting your ears pierced or any other kind of piercing. They might use local anesthetic which is no biggie, and even if they don’t I’ll be just fine. Pain doesn’t bother me.

There are many non invasive cosmetic procedures these days that can be performed by qualified beauticians, mostly injections. They're also way more affordable than proper surgery.
I wouldn't get any at the moment tho, thanks for asking.
