Early Summer Holidays in Our Schools

The Education Ministry of West Bengal has declared that schools will remain closed till the end of this month.
It is a wise decision as there is a heat wave blowing over West Bengal State.
Today, the mercury is indicating the temperature to be 40 degrees Celsius. I went to bring the mother of our children from the school. It was nearly unbearable to stand and wait outside the school.
The sunrays are so hot you feel as if you are standing near a furnace.
Certainly, in such oppressive weather it's good for children to stay at home .
It means more work for me. As all school going children will remain at home I will have to be on my toes taking care of them. And I will also have to help them with their lessons.
Well, this is a part of my work as a foster father.

I'm glad there won't be school because of the oppressive heat.

I think you have much higher humidity there too which would make it even more oppressive.

It is a busy life when you teach the kids at home, but the time spent together is a treasure. It is challenging, but such a joy to spend more time with your kids.
