Day 94 – Peace Leviticus 3:1 ‘When his offering is a sacrifice of a peace offering, if he offers it of the herd, whether male or female, he will offer it without blemish before JEHOVAH. 2 He will lay his hand on the head of his offering and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of meeting; and Aaron’s sons, the priests, will sprinkle the blood around on the altar. 3 Then he will offer from the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire to JEHOVAH. The fat that covers the entrails and the fat on the entrails, 4 the two kidneys and the fat on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he will remove; 5 and Aaron’s sons will burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, on the wood on the fire, as an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to JEHOVAH. 6 ‘If his offering as a sacrifice of a peace offering to JEHOVAH is of the flock, whether male or female, he will offer it without blemish. 7 If he offers a lamb as his offering, then he will offer it before JEHOVAH. 8 He will lay his hand on the head of his offering and kill it before the tabernacle of meeting; and Aaron’s sons will sprinkle its blood around on the altar. 9 Then he will offer from the sacrifice of the peace offering, as an offering made by fire to JEHOVAH, its fat, and the whole fat tail which he will remove close to the backbone. The fat that covers the entrails and the fat on the entrails, 10 the two kidneys and the fat on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he will remove; 11 and the priest will burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire to JEHOVAH. 12 ‘If his offering is a goat, then he will offer it before JEHOVAH. 13 He will lay his hand on its head and kill it before the tabernacle of meeting; and the sons of Aaron will sprinkle its blood around on the altar. 14 Then he will offer from it his offering, as an offering made by fire to JEHOVAH. The fat that covers the entrails and the fat on the entrails, 15 the two kidneys and the fat on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he will remove; 16 and the priest will burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire for a sweet aroma; the fat is JEHOVAH’S. 17 This will be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you will eat neither fat nor blood.’” God’s name: JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal Yeshuwa – Jesus God’s character: Shelem – Peace Everyone wants to live in peace. How do you do that with so much hate in the world? What will you give to live in peace? Peace was a sacrifice. Peace made atonement with the blood first poured out to JEHOVAH on the altar, and then they shared the meat between the person who brought the offering and the priest who sacrificed it. JEHOVAH’S portion was the inward parts. Yeshuwa poured out His blood on the cross. He was your peace offering. His blood atoned for your sin so you could partake of eternal life. In the Last Supper with His disciples, Yeshuwa told them to eat the bread, representing His body. He told them to drink the wine, representing His blood, His sacrifice for your peace. When you come to JEHOVAH, you must come with your prayers and supplications given from the inmost part of your being. When you do, He will accept your offering. He will give you His peace because Yeshuwa is your peace, your JEHOVAH Shelem. With His peace resting on you, you can give peace to your family, friends, neighbors, acquaintances, and coworkers. Your peace will touch everyone you encounter. Give peace a chance in your life, and you will find JEHOVAH’S peace resting on you. Let’s pray: Father, let Your peace rest on my life as I pour out my inmost concerns to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 21 April 2024 by Valerie Routhieaux The image belongs to me.

Peace also comes partly from what we eat, and in how we eat it, and so God instructed them in how to sacrifice, in how he wanted it done, and we should be careful in how we prepare our own food, and in what we eat too. Some countries do eat blood, and fat, but the Jews were told by God not to do so. Perhaps, they will not allow us to feel peaceful, when we eat blood, and fat too.

How we prepare our food is important. When we follow God's dietary laws, we will be healthier. Have a blessed day.

@innertalks Yes, because those foods are stumbling blocks to new Christians.

@just4him Yes, anything else that is a stumbling block should always be avoided in our lives too.
