Dogwood Trees

When my ex and I moved into the little house where he still lives there were many flowers and trees on the property. There was a magnolia bush, a big hydrangea, a nice maple tree in the back by the patio, and a pink dogwood tree in the front. Every spring the lady next door would come over and ask us if she could pick a few sprigs off the blooming tree to make a bouquet. It was a beautiful tree. Its regular green foliage turns purplish in the fall and it has reddish berries that birds and butterflies enjoy. Do you have one or one nearby you that you can enjoy this time of year?
