It's race day again, which means I'll get my weekly bath. I keep hinting at George to take a shower, but he doesn't seem to be taking it. I'll keep working on him though. Right now he's outside, enjoying the sun. He'll be back in time for the race.

It is good that he has an interest like that. The only races I enjoy are the horse races.

I feel like I was in the middle of an April Fool's joke and the joke is that April is over yet it really has come to an end. Which kind of makes me sad because now that lilac time will come to Latvia and I really miss that

@RasmaSandra July is approaching, and George still isn't cleared to drive. He doesn't even have a doctor assigned to him because his previous one retired suddenly. So, my hopes of seeing fireworks this years is going fast.

I need to shower. I always hate it because it takes me 1-1/2 to 2 hours from start to finish. Then, with my husband not here, I have trouble getting dressed. Such a pain. Have a good week.

Looks like it's race day! George might need a little nudge in the shower direction, but hey, enjoying the sunshine sounds like a good pre-race ritual too. Hopefully, he'll be back refreshed and ready to go when the race starts!
