If you could change one thing about your personality or yourself, what would it be?

Overthinking. I am quite anxious and I do have this inner saboteur in me. However, I'm on a journey towards self-improvement. I've learned to temper my tendency to dwell excessively on things, and instead, I'm channeling my self-awareness towards positive change. It's a work in progress, but I'm finding joy in the process of becoming a better version of myself.

@grenery8 Embracing positivity and brushing off negativity takes practice. But you're on the right track. Just keep focusing on what uplifts you! It helps a lot.

I am quite an over thinker too and sometimes I drown into thoughts of what could go wrong and how there are so many things to do that I end up incapacitated. I wish to change this too. But it is a challenge as I got this from my mom who was an overthinker too.

@pitsipeahie I can see the optimism in you already! I will try my best too.

I started small, like catching myself when I'm spiraling and gently redirecting my thoughts. One step at a time, we'll kick those 'what ifs' to the curb!

Ah, laziness, at some point its everyone's struggle! Taking that first step is always the toughest, but once you get going, momentum kicks in.

I don't think I would. Honestly, I had to learn to love myself. And, I do.

I would want to improve my self esteem, that has always been very low.

You deserve to see yourself in the positive light others see you in. Keep believing in yourself and the rest will follow.

@pitsipeahie You are so right, I think that what we feel when we are very young follows us during all our life.

I will probably fix my response to tasks. I will do everything to prevent procrastination.

Taking on procrastination, getting things done and being productive sounds like a solid plan.

I was diagnosed with GAD but I don't feel like I overthink. But I do struggle with perfectionism and fear of negative emotions or responses. I've learned to make sense out of most of this, to the point I wouldn't change anything about me. I mean, I wouldn't change the core aspects of my personality, then there's always room for improvement. For instance, I gotta find my inner motivation.

Embracing your core self while still seeking growth is where it's at. I think you've found that balance.
