Would you believe I got hit with this wild question on a survey: "Would you buy a brain implant to enhance your memory?"
lol
Talk about sci-fi stuff! Honestly, my gut reaction was a HARD PASS. I mean, who's up for brain surgery just for a memory boost?
Definitely not me, that's for sure!
I'll stick to old-school methods like writing notes or using my phone. Call me old-fashioned, but I like my brain just the way it is – no upgrades required!

@LadyDuck Elon Musk should implant a chip in HIS brain. The man´s own brain is not what I´d call perfect.

@pitsipeahie You are right, I am totally against humans messing up with my brain, but I understand that it is an interesting scientific experiment.

I just heard but not really read about it. May be that is why this question appeared on the survey! Definitely opens up possibilities for those interested. Guess it all boils down to personal choice and how comfortable you are with the idea of merging tech with biology. The future sure is intriguing!

Brain has a wonderful way of forgeting what we don´t want to remember. It would be absurd to get an implant to destroy it.

An implant to tinker with the brain's natural ability seems like overkill!

Fair enough! If your memory's solid, no need to fix what ain't broken. Who knows it might just do more harm than good

I am not sure about enhancing my memory.
I would however like to be smarter.

I know there's a disease called Hyperthymesia,it can let people remember everything and never will forget. That would be terrible,i never want that.

That's crazy, isn't it? I've never had a good memory and chemo made it even worse, but I wouldn't have brain surgery at my age. Maybe by the time my grandkids are older, it might be more acceptable to some people.
