Is there any author whose books you must read when they publish? who is the author(s)

Good morning! Today's question is can you think of an author that you like so much that you either want to buy or go to the library and get their newest books as soon as possible? Bonus points if you read everything that the author has written or are planning to read everything they have written (don't worry I am not giving points!) I will share my authors. I get these author's books from the library. Author #1 is Debbie Macomber- she is new to me but I recently discovered her and want to read everything by her. She writes such sweet, heartwarming stories. Author #2 is Susan Mallery I have read more books by her and loved them all but I don't remember their titles because I didn't finish two books of hers Author #3 is Janet Evanovich but only the Stephanie Plum series which has me laughing out loud so hard! I don't care for the other series by the author Now your turn! Who is an author you have to read each time they have a book out?

When the series was new, I watched and waited for the next book in the Left Behind series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. There won't be any more books in that series. Tim LaHaye passed several years ago. I keep looking for something new from Frank Peretti. It's been a while since I read anything new from him. Other authors I'll read if I see them are Tracy Peterson and Francine Rivers.

Is Jerry B. Jenkins still alive? Would you read something from him that wasn't in the Left Behind series? I haven't heard of Tracy Peterson or Francine Rivers but may look for books by them at the library. I have heard of Frank Peretti. I feel so shallow reading what I read when the rest of myLot reads such smart-sounding books

@LovesEverybody I think you would like Tracy Peterson and Francine Rivers. Yes, I've read a couple of books by Jerry B. Jenkins. I have them in my personal library.

@psanasangma Just have the thought that one day you will read them! That is what I am doing as I have so many books I own and need to read. Yet, I keep going to the library for books despite having so many books in my bedroom.

Lots actually none of which you mentioned because I follow only Independent authors like myself and read most of their books. I have a list and I know when all of there books are out and sometimes I even get to read and write a review for them because I'm part of there ARC team. If I find the book series my currently reading I will be reading next to my friend Willow Astria's Blood Origins which is the last book in her Blood Singer Trilogy. I'm also alpha reading for her currently for her next book. Which I think is going under a different pen name than the one she is currently using.

how do you get a list that tells when the books of those authors you read? Do independent authors' books come out on Tuesdays like a Debbie Macomber book comes out? I read once that Tuesday was the day most books were published What is an alpha reading? I know what ARC means and did a review for Booksprout. I can't remember the author's name but she commented on my review on GoodReads. Is Apha Reading something similar? I read some independent authors in cozy mysteries on Kindle Unlimited. I enjoy them

@LovesEverybody bookies can be published any day of the week. Independent authors can pick whatever day they want. Tuesday are typical ebook-free day for Kindle users. Most authors drop books on Fridays with the weekend in mind, kind of like movies. There is no list, go to their pages on Amazon and such and get a notification on when those books will be released. An alpha reader is someone who reads the work of an author before publication usually before its even edited. This gives the author an idea of yes people will like it and what they might want to work on . Beta readers usually come in after the alpha reader has thought through and editing has been done. This is usually around when the work of the book is almost 100% Beta readers will go through and tell you their thoughts and feelings before publication happens. Then author goes back does what they can and then publishes.

At the moment I'm hooked on Jojo Moyes and Jodi Picoult. I don't think I've read all of theirs yet though.

I read one of Jodi Picoult's books that I can remember and loved that book. I have never read Jojo Moyes but she is on my list of authors whose books I want to read.

@LovesEverybody How is your depression now? And your anxiety? Mine are severe. I don't know what to do.

@dya80dya I don't necessarily feel completely depressed, But as I told my case manager a couple of weeks ago I have no goals or motivation anymore. My anxiety is getting a very, very tiny bit better as my psychiatrist increased one of my medicines for anxiety plus I have another medicine for anxiety that my doctor can't give me any more of it. I understand you not knowing what to do. Sometimes I am totally out of ideas of what to do to help myself

I hope you gain back your concentration. I have been that way. But, for me at least, it comes back.
