Finally. After what feels like a week of waiting, George's feeding syringes finally arrived in the mail. I ordered them at the exact same time as his formula, sponages and other supplies, but of course, they didn't arrive until today. For the past several days I had been using an older barely-used syringe for his tube feeds being sure to clean it to the best of my ability after each use. I'll continue to use it for the next couple of feedings since it's good and I need to speak to the nutrionist and get him seen. However, the VA is also going through a transfer period, because one place is closing while another is opening. George also doesn't have a pcp because that whole thing. It's just a huge mess. But, it's the VA for you.
