I hope all of you had a good Mother's Day. Did you do anything special?
I saw something on TV that I never thought I'd see...over-the-counter birth control pills. They are called Opill.
The flathead catfish has spread from the Gulf of Mexico all the way into Canada. Global warming has played a part in this. They can weight up to 120 pounds, they eat everything in their path; and the female can lay 10,000 eggs at a time. Another "invasive" species.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Cheese lasagna, squash, green beans, fruit cocktail
Dessert/Snack - Blueberry muffin
Dinner - PB&J sandwich

We celebrated on Saturday with a meal at one of our favorite local places. We wanted Fingersteaks from somewhere in town, but they couldn't make is the pounds of them to go sadly.

My cats had no idea about Mother's Day. I made sauerkraut my way again but this time in a baking dish with cut-up kielbasa and covered it with aluminum foil and baked for 45 minutes, It came out good and had seasoned fries with it, Guess what I wrote about today? The flathead catfish,
