All soaking wet

Last week we finally had the strongest rain in months. Trouble is that the leaves and loose soil clogged the drains. Plus, my rain coat wasn't effective, even my umbrella wasn't enough. My aunt help but I preferred doing it myself.
The next day Mom did a major gardening and cleaning with some help. That really improved, the thunderstorm yesterday didn't cause trouble this time. But I removed leaves just in case.
Glad I didn't catch a cold because I also had lack of sleep that day. Honestly, now it's not as hot as it used to be. Hope it stays that way for a while.

We got lucky this week @kareng but after that last rain it hasn't rained much only dark clouds for days.

Yesterday it also rained in my city. There was thunder and lightning in the morning, and it started to rain lightly at noon. The rain stopped in the afternoon. It's a sunny day today. I hope your rainstorm will stop soon

It's annoyingly hot again today now the storm has passed. It stopped alright and now i have to sleep outside to compensate.

@Letranknight2015 I saw some news about India, and many people are suffering from heat stroke. I think the temperature in the Philippines is the same as in India

It sounds like you've had quite the busy time dealing with the aftermath of the rain! Good on you for being proactive and handling the drainage issues. It’s great that your efforts paid off with the next storm. It's also a relief to hear you didn't catch a cold, especially with the lack of sleep and all the extra work you had to do.

It's really hard to sleep when the weather is too hot. I have 3 fans in the room but with out a window it's hard.
