We made it to Jacksonville!

We just got into JAX about a half hour ago. We stopped at an Extended Stay America hotel because that was what was advertised as the cheapest in town, and they wouldn't take a cash payment unless we we're staying for a week or more. So I googled the cash hotels in Jacksonville and we we're on the way to the one it showed us as the cheapest when we passed by the Knights Inn. It looked cheap, and like they would take cash. So we stopped and sure enough it was around $80 with tax if we paid in cash, so we stopped and parked and went ahead and got a room for the night. Hopefully we will be done with what we have to do here by tomorrow afternoon and headed back home. So we won't have to pay for another night. But we are here. I have notifications to get to, and then I'll share some pictures. But for now, here;s the weirdest microwave I've ever seen. There are two 110 outlets in the front of the microwave. Have you ever seen something that strange? Cause I know I haven't. I don't even know why that is something that is possible-.

Extended stay hotels tend to have guests who spend a month or sometimes more. Most business people use them, particularly those who travel for work. Since they are limited on space, technology has evolved so such a thing is possible.

I am aware of how those work. I lived in one.

@thislittlepennyearns Some microwaves don't get the latest chips, but space-saving technology, like outlets in unusual places is considered 'new'.

This hotel is not an extended stay hotel. Well not in the traditional sense. And this microwave says 1999 on it, so its not new technology.

Glad to hear you made it safe and sound, Great deal on the hotel, Sounds like a really odd microwave and I personally don't like microwaves so that one would really throw me,

That does sound very different for a microwave. Good luck with getting all the tasks done so you can go home.

That is certainly one weird microwave. I wonder what they were thinking when they put those outlets there.
