I went down town shopping today. My weather app said cloudy with a chance of rain, and there was a little cloud symbol with raindrops at 11:00am, but I wanted to go anyway. I wore my mac with the hood. I set off at about 10:45am and it wasn't raining. I saw some ducklings with a Mum and Dad duck when I was walking round Stowe Pool. Then I got accosted by a couple of Jehovah's Witnesses. Fortunately they didn't attempt to make me talk for ages, they just offered me a leaflet which I took. Then when they were out of sight I crumpled it up and put it in the nearest bin!
I went to the toilet by the Cathedral for a no.2! Then I went to get some more pictures printed at the photo expert shop. I got 15 pictures printed again. Whilst in there I saw a lady who was printing out about 85 photos and a man who didn't know how to work his phone to get the photos off it! There was a machine up the corner that froze. You pressed the next button and nothing happened! The shop assistant had to phone someone up and ask them if they could download some pictures for them. And then the machine started working again. I don't know wether that was because the person the shop assistant had phoned sorted it out remotely, or wether it just came to life on its own. I asked the lady to cross off rest of the the May squares on my loyalty card. Then I took my photos and left.
Then I went to Holland and Barrett and got 2 packets of strawberry flavour liquorice, but Mum didn't want anything from there, so I just got my stuff. The I went to the down town Tesco and got some strawberries and some seedless red grapes..
All I needed to do then was go to Iceland. I got some Chinese style chicken curry, a sweet and sour chicken and a paella. Then I found an Amazon gift card and when I got to the till I had £50 added to that.
When I'd payed for those I went back to the toilet by the Cathedral. I did another no.2. When I was coming out I saw an old lady standing by the bin. Then all of a sudden she slipped on a wet patch on the floor and fell over!
I went over and asked her if she was OK and I asked her if she could get up. She said she didn't think she could, so I went and picked up her walking stick and I asked her ifvshe could get up using that and she said she didn't think so! The ladies friend was in one of the toilets, and she said Is that you (whoever the lady's age was?) And I said, Yeah, she's taken a tumble. So the old ladies friend came out of the toilet, and the lady who had tumbled shuffled over to the wash basin. It's like one long trough, because these toilets are where the old stables used to be. So the lady held onto the rim of the sink and me and the ladies friend heaved her up back on to her feet. When the old lady was standing. They both thanked me for staying to help.
So then I went home and I felt a few spots if rain but not much and then it stopped. When I got home I told my Mum all about my shopping trip. I gave Mum her change, shopping list and Tesco club card, then I unpacked the groceries and put them away.
Then I had my lunch and watched some telly.
At midnight tonight I watched the latest episode of Doctor Who when it dropped on iPlayer. It is called 73 Yards and it's a Doctor lite episode which means the Doctor isn't in it very much. I thought it was very good and it really showcased Millie Gibson's acting talents as Ruby Sunday. If you want to watch it it's on BBC iPlayer now and will be on BBC1 tonight at 6:50pm I think, but check your telly listings incase I'm wrong. Outside of the UK it's on Disney+ where available.
What have you lot been getting up to today?
I hope you are all well.
Have a great night.

@kareng I'm sure it was. I don't like working when it's hot.

Sunday I wanted to wear my new shoes to the grocery store, but first my mother wanted me to help her put clothes on the line. It was muddy and I got mud on my new shoes. My mother got them cleaned, but she missed a spot. I cleaned them yesterday. We didn't go to the big Walmart as planned so we didn't get any mulch. I did get some more strawberries. My mother got some grapes. Last week we saw some geese near the big Walmart.

We hang our clothes up on dryers in the bathroom, so we don't need to go outside to hang them up. I'm sorry you got mud on your new shoes. I'm glad you got them cleaned. I'm sorry you didn't get any mulch. I'm sure it was nice to see the geese by Walmart.
I hope you are well.
Have a nice day.

Well, I couldn't really just leave her there, could I? I wasn't going to do that.
I hope you have a good weekend too.

Yes, that's true. It's a good job she had people there to help her.
