Soap Scum

I just read where owner and founder of Mop Stars Cleaning Service in Denver, Colorado estimates that at least 85% of American households have hard water. Vinegar isn't always the answer in cleaning and so is the case with natural soaps because the fatty acids they contain will react to calcium and magnesium in hard water to cause soap scum. It is actually better to choose non-soap detergents that are made from synthetic compounds and won't react to hard water. So much for going natural. Your thoughts.

We take our chances and risks. We have to think about what's good for our bodies, too.
