Well, we have our routine down pretty good. It's a little after 11:30 and I'm done with the morning chores, including doing a dressing change. George is happy about going to see the diation, because he wants to hear he can get the tube out. We'll see what she says and where his weight is. He's gained back what he lost, but I don't want him to start losing it again. Being under weight is partly why he had the stroke. Well, age and problems we weren't aware of, too. But, as they say one bridge at a time, right? He'll be going in a few more days, because they donot opporate on the weekend. I'll keep you posted on how that goes.

I hope he can have the tube removed. Does this mean he’s eating more by mouth???? I hope!!!

I would like to say, 'yes' but the answer is still no. If I ask him what he wants for dinner, he answers with "later' or 'I'll tell you when I'm ready'. I end up saying f it, and give him the tube, anyway.

Welcome to June. I hope hat he can get the tube out, Perhaps for a while he should not only eat regular food but also drink protein shakes,

I hope he can safely have it removed soon, I'm sure he is wanting that to happen. But as you say, one bridge at a time. He'll get there.

Yeah. He needs to eat more by mouth so he doesn't crash.
