Today started earlier than usual for me as I needed to prepare for an important day ahead. With several tasks lined up, I made sure to begin with something essential for the day’s plans.
First on my agenda was to charge my e-bike, ensuring it was ready for the errands I had to run. My mother and I had a scheduled trip to pick up her laboratory test results. This task was crucial, and I wanted to ensure we got the information promptly.
Once we collected her results, our next stop was the market. We planned to buy fresh fish, changing up our meals after two consecutive days of having vegetables. While I enjoy vegetables and appreciate their benefits, especially in maintaining my weight, a little variety is always welcome.
Lately, I’ve been more conscious about my diet and health. I’ve noticed that as I age, my metabolism seems to be slowing down, making it even more important to watch what I eat. Including more vegetables in my diet helps, but I also crave a balanced mix of foods.
That’s how my day is shaping up—focusing on my mother’s health and ensuring we have nutritious and varied meals. How about you? What are your plans for today?

Sharing good news can definitely brighten everyone's mood, and your surveys probably add interesting insights too. Keep up the great work! What kind of good news stories do you have in store for today?

@annierose Just tuning to old school comedy shows from Mexico and take the advice from a blogger from Sweden on my emails to think positive about life.

@Deepizzaguy That sounds like a wonderful way to find positivity and laughter, George! Old school comedy shows have a charm of their own, and the advice from a blogger on positive thinking sounds uplifting.

Tomatoes and hot peppers are such great choices. Are you planning any special dishes with them once they’re ready to harvest?

You've had a productive day. Digestion becomes a challenge as we grow old, especially when we begin to lose our molars.
I sometimes go on a 12-hour fasting to detox my gut. Exercise also helps me digest my food - slow walking does the job fine.
I just plan to fold as many clothes as I can today and start packing for our US trip. We leave next Monday.

Grocery shopping weekly is a good strategy to keep everything fresh and save some money, Neil. It’s always nice finding ways to be more efficient with our resources.

@annierose I totally agree with that. But you know, I don't anymore do that here in the city where I am working.

Well, I had plans to complete some of the office works and failed miserably. Partially because I was in shock from certain external news and unable to find that internal or external motivation. So, yes I ended doing random things and that s not helping. Glad to see you found your way. Enjoy the time!
