Another Volcanic Explosion

There's another volcanic activity in the island of Negros. It was a total shock to us. We are frightened because four years ago we had the taal volcano explosion then virus spread to the country, causing lockdowns for almost a year.
At least we don't have to worry about ash reaching this place.
This really tells you that we are part of Pacific Ring of Fire. The truth is that we are NOT ready for it entirely despite the quake drills we had before. In fact our house is just vulnerable to such earth quake with all the cracks.

Were far away from this volcano so it's fine. But it is scary only after four years we get to see another volcanic activity.

Volcanoes are a force of nature that we all have to worry about, even if they are a bit far from us. This particular volcano is located south of our place, so we are hoping that it won't blow its top and cause problems for the people who live near it. We are concerned about them and hope they are not in danger.

@Letranknight2015 I also hope that it would not but the news are reporting that the lahar flows are already affecting some places near the volcano.

Hello @rsa101 I hope it doesn't explode the way taal and pinatubo did. Lives of the people would be seriously affected.

My husband had to cancel his speaking engagement in Iloilo because of this. I hope the ash fall doesn't go too far. I heard that evacuation's underway.

There was video of lahar pouring in the areas were river goes @almostoveryou . It was better that way he could have gotten stranded over there.

It's been four since the Taal Volcano explosion @HaruLoid I remember seeing ash falling down. Good thing I had wore mask that night.
