Some of you may be dieting, trying to lose some pounds. Most know that eating early in the day is better than late in the day/night. If you eat later in the day you are more apt to gain weight. When I was dieting and trying to lose weight I would often look for ideas to help me along the way. I found an easy one recently and wanted to share it. It's just a common sense type of thing.
When you go to the fridge or pantry to get items to fix for a meal have the more healthy ones on the shelf at eye level so you are more apt to see them first. Don't put the chips and overproduced items there but the fresh fruit and vegetables.
Great idea, right? I often tend to put the veggies and fruit in the vegetable bin at the bottom and some of them would often spoil before I used them.

That's what I do with fruit and veggies. George used to live on salads, but now I'm happy if he asks me for hot dogs or hamburger.

@kaylachan ........That's true. We have to play games with ourselves at times.

@celticeagle Well nothing wrong with that. People who need to force themselves to eat more "healthy" do need a visual you have to go out of your way to ignore.
