5 June - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from cloudy, wet, windy Green Bay, Wisconsin. Currently, it's 78 F and starting to rain.
It's been a good day.
I'm thankful for rock painting. I finished a rock today. I don't have a picture of it yet. I will. I also have another rock almost finished. I'll finish it in two weeks when I go back.
I'm thankful for the Farmer's Market. I got two kinds of cheese and some romaine lettuce. The produce looked nice, but I only got the romaine.
I'm thankful I have all my steps. I'm beat, though I still want to get a workout on the foot cycle. Eating at the ADRC and the Farmer's Market demands time on the foot cycle.
I'm thankful that despite the food I ate out today, the calories aren't as high as I expected, but the sodium is through the roof. My weight is up a bit, but I expect it's all water weight and will come down by the weekend.
No time for my book today, and very little time here. I'll be home all day tomorrow, so I should get caught up after I finish getting the apartment ready for the two-minute housing inspection.

I'm thankful that our appointment at the va did better than expected. George had an easier time getting his seatbelt on today, And, he made sure that we didn't get lost. GPS wanted to take us in circles. He's sharp as a tack and understand a little more about why he still needs the tube.

I’m thankful that while 100 people got laid off at my brother-in-law’s job today, my brother-in-law was not one of them. I mean, you feel badly because some good people lost jobs, but you’re so thankful your family member was not one of them.

@just4him I tried to find Andy Price online. Apparently, his book wasn't published online. He must have paid a publishing company to do this.

Sound like a full day there, but sounds all good. Sorry about the weight, but that's probably true. Housing inspections are never fun, hope it goes well.
