Like I said in the post before this, it was late when we got done for the day and got back to the house so yet again I made dinner pretty late. But better late than never. I got paid for an article I wrote for one of my freelance clients, and had a coupon for one of the local grocery stores so I got a deal on steaks. Grandma cooked way earlier for the kids because we didn't;t know when we'd be home, which ended up being a good thing. I have no idea what she made as sides, but she left our steaks in the fridge so I could make them when we got home. I had seasoned and put them in marinade last night so they would be nice and flavorful when I got ready to cook them. Anyhoo. I seared the steaks on the stove in a pan for a few minutes on each side,then put them in a pan with butter and cooked them for 15-20 minutes. We like our steaks still mooing as my MIL puts it. I however made baked potatoes with butter, cheese salt and pepper, and baked beans. I had some hot dog buns that needed to be used up, and what is a meal without a carb. So I slathered the hot dog buns with butter, some garlic salt and cheese and baked them up. So that's what was for dinner at casa de us. What went on the table at your house? kloveyoubye
