Even though it was Tom's Birthday, he cooked steaks on the grill. Heated up the grill to 600° and about 10 min later we had steaks. When I got to Grocery Outlet, I looked at the steaks. The package of 2 steaks each of the Ribeyes were light pinkish colored, lots of grizzle. I happened to look down at the packages of 3 steaks, and picked up the top one to see a package of 3 Blood Red. Touched the plastic wrap and that steak was almost squishy. Aged perfectly. Marinated them in Brown Sugar Bourbon and Montreal Steak seasoning. When those steaks were done and on my plate, you could cut them with a butter knife they were so tender. Just one thin line of grizzle and even that wasn't hard to cut. The way those steaks were so aged is how EVERY steak should look, but I would bet that most people would never buy those steaks thinking they were past due and not good flavor. They were PERFECT! I ALWAYS looke for Blood Red Steaks, pink ones are okay, but the Blood Red are aged and Tender! Tom is smoking wings today...Can't wait to use my Parmasean Dipping Sauces...and see which one is better.

They sound really delicious. I haven't had a steak in years. Have a good weekend.

I hope you enjoy. We have a grill that's actually sitting in a corrner untouched.
