Smart phone with 4 cameras / myLot

The craze to upgrade will not stop such users from going for mobiles with 4 cameras even if they have no interest nor passion in photography. I understand professional photographers could perhaps make use of such mobiles but there are great digital cameras that have more features. Why do manufacturers produce such gadgets if they are just bought but not used? Do you own a 4 camera mobile? Do you own such a camera? I own a 4 camera mobile phone from 2 years. It was a gift of my husband, not a Samsung or an Apple, it's a Huawei, a lot less expensive but great camera quality. I do not even put a SIM in the phone, I only use it as a camera.

@allknowing The four cameras allow different focal length photos. Since you cannot change lens on a phone, the four cameras provides stronger zoom capabilities and better 3D scenes. I arrived to take some very good macro photos, better than using my camera.

No. I have an iphone 14 pro. I bought it for the screen size and processing power. I can do more on it than I could other phones and it meets my needs completely. I also have a macbook Air with the M2 chip. I don't need the processing power, but magsafe is a life saver. Plus, a full-size keyboard has made typing easier on my hands.

I have two feature phones that are capable of voice and texting. I have a digital camera and a desktop. With these devices I get everything done. I use YouTube movie maker and create videos, I use chrome recorder to record my voice and Windows 10 have features that help me create articles What kind of work do you do?

Some people are drawn to mobile phones with multiple cameras for the latest technology, even if they're not passionate about photography. While professional photographers might find these phones useful, dedicated cameras often offer more features and better quality. I don't own a mobile phone with four cameras, but I can see the appeal for those who are into photography or just want the latest tech.
