Saturday Morning Brief

Good morning from rainy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Currently, it's 61 F. We'll get into the 70s with sunshine this afternoon.
Today will be relaxing. I will get some book work done today. I tried yesterday. It didn't work, but I did get the letters from two of my characters. So, I know what I need to do to fix it and make it right. I can move forward now.
Last night's Hymn Sing was wonderful. There was also food. Yes, I gained. The good news is it's only 4 ounces. They had a bonfire, and thanks to the baseball game going on close by, there were fireworks. It was a great evening.
I didn't get home last night until after ten and didn't get to bed until 11:30. So, yes, I didn't get up early this morning, but I did get seven hours of uninterrupted sleep.
My plans for today are simple, relax, relax, relax. The best way to do that is to spend it here with you and working on my book. I'll also get my steps and watch TV. It can't get better than that.

Sounds like you had a wonderful time out last night! I like your painted rock!
For the first time in three weekends, I didn't do anything on Friday night, nor have any plans for Saturday and Sunday. This is kind of a recuperation weekend for me, a time to get some rest and just relax. With Father's Day next weekend, and then a big paintball tournament the weekend after that, I'm going to be busy and on the go once again.

Not hot here. Right now, we're in the low 60s. It will get to the low 70s today when it stops raining and the sun comes out to play.

Getting seven hours of uninterrupted sleep is definitely a win! Enjoy your time working on your book and taking it easy today. My day is just getting started, but hearing about your peaceful day ahead is a great start!
