Frugal Food: Lunch/Din June 12th, 2024

So today we got treated to a meal by friends who own a diner. I wrote a little bit about that earlier in a post. I wanted to share what we had for lunch and dinner. I will say that this was a comped meal, so it was very very very frugal. And we like that. Chris generally gets the same thing every time we go see Jason and his wife. He got the pulled pork sammich with no pickles, smoked BBQ beans and a sweet tea. I have been trying to get something new every time we go in, and today was no exception. I ordered the jalepeno popper grilled cheese, smoked Mac and cheese and a sweet tea. Delicious as always! So good. (I had intended on being more descriptive with this post , but my pain med and muscle relaxer have kicked in, and I can no longer think straight. So I apologize.)
