I'm not sure this is going to work, but it is a safe link

at least I've never had a problem with it.
Now, I'm not sure how many of my friends remember Maggiepie. She was my friend in real life. I met her in 1976 and remained friends, despite some issues, until her death in 2017. During that time, I took her to see her grandmother several times.
So, when I opened an email that I will look at most days and a map showed up, I literally froze for several moments.
Why? well, her grandmother, who she actually lived with for a bunch of years, lived just outside this tiny, unincorporated village in the piney woods of Louisiana. And I looked at this map and... there it was.
The place is called Noble. I understand that after the lake got filled, it became something more than just a sad spot on the road.
So, the article this is linked to, is not why I linked it, it is because the map showed something I used to have a terrible time finding on a map before her grandmother died and her mother and aunt moved away from it.

I remember your friend. So you were surprised to see Noble so prominently on a map.
