Thanks to the teamwork of the community and police officers in Henrico County who saw a two month old tabby cat who was in the woods along a trail on Wednesday of this week who had suffered a leg injury and needed to be helped. Community members called the Animal Protection officials to take care of the kitten who suffered a back leg injury. Animal Control Officer Wieringa arrived at the scene and took the kitten with the officer to the animal hospital to take care of the kitten the same day, How did the kitten wind up in the woods is not known at this time. They either are abandoned on the road by someone or the cats just wander on the street.

This reminds me of a woman. I gave her a kitten and after a year the cat disappeared. I felt very sad because I rescued her. She was abandoned by her mom. The woman had a house near the woods.
