Went to Walmart..come home thinking I might fix tacos for supper. About 30 minutes later Tom calls me and asked if I wanted to go out and eat. Of Course..I said..YES! He came and got me and we went to the Beach. He wanted to go to Bayou On The Beach and eat, but when we got there...no parking places..a Crowd of people were sitting outside waiting. We left. We were trying to figure out where else we could eat, and we came upon Applebees. Hardly any cars there. We stopped. Got inside and the dude told us they were light with staff, and we would have to wait 20 minutes for a seat. Half the restaurant was empty only because there wasn't enough waitresses to wait on those tables. After another couple with a kid left because they didn't want to wait...the dude told us that since there was only 2 of us, that if we didn't want to wait, we could sit at the bar. So we Did. We both ordered the Bourbon Street Sirloin..and it was so tender, and the sauteed onions and mushrooms(if you can find them) were awesome..gave the steak such a wonderful flavor. Real Garlic Mashed Taters. On the way home Tom stopped at the AmVets. They had Karaoke. He sang one song, and we came home. We haven't done that in a long long time. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
