Guava cheese

It is called guava cheese but has nothing to do with cheese It is somewhat like how we make banana halwa. In this case the fruits are cut and steam boiled in a pressure cooker, blended and then the seeds removed.
Equal quantity of sugar is added and then kept on slow fire and stirred till it is ready to be plated. A bit of butter or ghee is added.
Once cooled it can be cut into pieces.

I'm not much of a fan of the Guava fruit but will use it occasionally to make "sinigang na bayabas" (pork in guava soup). Looking at the recipe, it seems simple enough to give it try. I'll have to use butter since ghee is not readily available here and a hassle to make clarified butter.

@allknowing Kiwi fruits are the same and I prefer to them much more

@youless When I visited New Zealand I got to taste the Kiwi fruit and I did not like it (lol)

I have never eaten guava cheese along with any type of cheese

@allknowing I make figs jam and pears jam to serve with cheese, both are delicious.

@allknowing That is very good, also grapes are good with some cheese.
