Yesterday's shopping trip down town. (21/6/2024)

I went shopping down town again yesterday. It was very hot. I put my lighter mac with the hood in my trolley just incase, but I didn't think I was going to need it. My Mum was going to the house group that meets at church aswell. I walked on the top path round Stowe Pool again. It was very hot but there was a bit of a breeze round Stowe Pool so that helped. When I got into town I went to the toilet by the Cathedral, and then I posted a couple of letters in the postbox by Superdrug. I went to get some more pictures printed. I got out my fan and fanned myself while I was waiting for my pictures to upload! The lady took my card and crossed off the last three squares for June. Next time I get some pictures printed it will be July! After I'd got my pictures printed I went to Holland and Barrett to get some pink liquorice. They didn't have the brand I like again so I came out without anything. They did have the smaller liquorice, but I don't like those ones so much, and they did have the black liquorice in the brand I like, but I really wanted the pink liquorice, so I decided not to bother. So then I went to the down town Tesco and got 2 lots of strawberries and some kitchen roll. Next I went to Iceland (the shop, not the country!) I got some paella and some Hunter's Chicken for my Mum, then l got 3 lots of my sea bass (£4 each or 3 for £10) I also treated myself to an aero. I put them on the conveyor belt and the cashier said, "Do you want a bag?" I said, " No, I've got one, thanks." But then I looked in the trolley and couldn't see any bags. I said, "I thought I had, but I think Mum didn't put it back after last week!" So the cashier gave me a new bag. After I'd payed I set off towards the toilet by the Cathedral again. As I was just coming passed the end of Minster Pool I saw my Pastor Steve with his two scruffy doggies! He said to the dogs, "Aren't you going to say hello to Sharon?" So one of the dogs came over and sniffed me and I had a nice stroke of him, but the other dog didn't seem to be interested! I told Steve about my brother David's new puppy doggie! Steve said he was doing a funeral at the crem that afternoon and he wasn't looking forward to it! After Steve had gone I went to the toilet by the Cathedral and then I set off for home. It was really hot around Stowe Pool again, and this time there was no breeze! I had to go and sit on a bench in the shade for a bit. Another one of those heavy breathing dogs came and sniffed the bench. He was slightly larger and podgier than the one I saw on Tuesday, and he was also grey but he also had flecks of white on.him. After he'd finished sniffing the bench he walked passed and woddled off to catch up with his owners. Not long afterwards I got up and went home. When I got home my Mum was still not back. I unpacked the groceries and put them away. I put Mum's change, shopping list and Tesco club card on the coffee table. I had my lunch and watched some telly. Syd went to pick Mum up from church.
