Seeds in the making

This inflorescence belongs to the fish tail palm which has almost reached the sky We have a few of these trees that have come up on their own. The only benefit is that the garden gets some height. Those seeds will be strewn on the floor and are of no use to us Hoping they will not germinate as they will only add to the weeds around. giving us more work. Nature does her own thing without realising the load she puts on us. We have to just accept - no other go.

The inflorescence of the palm of my neighbor fell into our garden and unfortunately those seeds germinated and I have now a very hard time getting rid of all those young palms trying to grow in our garden. He called a gardener and cut his two palms last year, but the damage was already done!

When it is someone else's doing that is difficult to put up with. Pulling out palm saplings is a difficult task as theur routes are hard to pull out.

@allknowing I noticed, I tried, but I do not arrive to pull out the palm saplings. I am going to call a gardener and see what they can do to get rid of all those saplings.

@LadyDuck Your gardener could help you uproot them.

It's a beautiful tree, but those seeds can be a hassle! Nature sure has its own plans, doesn't it?

Nature never consults us. She does what makes her happy and we have to toe the line (lol)

@allknowing Nature must have missed the memo about our seed-free landscaping preferences! She's definitely the boss when it comes to planting surprises.

@annierose A word in her behalf though Sometimes she springs surprises that add grandeur to our garden This is an ordinary periwinkle but see how she has arranged them all.

Weeds just seem to appear all year and as fast as you cut them down there they are again.

This season I have let the dry leaves stay on the ground as they will hinder weeds growth

Birds may be but I wonder what spiders are doing up there!! The trees almost touch the sky While birds could be flying around how does one get to see the spiders I wonder

@allknowing Yes, spiders can go anywhere even to the sky
