Person after person killed in a mysterious manner. No trace of how exactly the killer succeeds each time. A peculiar shape of dumped bodies in a dug out place. An increasing frequency. A message to a known person by the killer indicating that she might be the next in line. Clear indications to the identity of the killer who officially "died" many years back. Yet this killer is known to the investigators. FBI in this case & in fact he trained some of them !! Yet he is ruthless, elusive and seems to know what the investigators would do next. If all this interests and intrigues you, welcome to "The Narrows" by Michael Connelly. My second book Read by the same author. The story is realistic yet it gradually grows upon you. Gripping and leaving us with "What next". The climax keeps us on the edge and a big psychological impact of a troubled childhood us also revealed about the killer. Definitely a worth read and though I got it from a book store, it is available online as well. Image : Taken on mobile phone

@JudyEv Yes. In fact, I had to think how to summarise for posting here. It would have been easier to write a mich more detailed summary.

@JudyEv Yes and even cricket or Football matches but definitely summarising books and well, 300 pages plus ones are even harder to do !
