24 June - What I'm Thankful for Today / myLot

Good evening from warm, sunny Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Currently, it's 73 F according to the computer. There's a light breeze, but it feels warmer. Today has been so-so. Still overall good. I'm thankful I got the laundry done this morning and put away before six AM. I'm thankful I could be with you today. I didn't get all the notifications done. I'll try to get it caught up tomorrow. I'm thankful for ice cream. Yesterday and today I needed it for an upset stomach. It takes it right away. I'm thankful for the visitation and prayer service tonight for the man who passed away last week. It was a good service. I'm thankful I have all my steps. I walked around the pond this morning, and worked out on the foot cycle before I went to the visitation at the church. Okay, that's my day. I played my game a couple of times, briefly. Sitting here is not helping my stomach. I'm going to finish watching a movie I was watching before I left for the church and then go to bed. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. I hope your stomach is better. I am cautiously thankful that our AC is working. I can't tell if it's dehumidifying; but it appears to be cooling. I turned it off for several hours to see if perhaps it was frozen up. Maybe the ice melted??? I don't know! Maybe I should have someone come in and check it anyway. Have a good day.

It's been a long day. However, I'm thankful all the same for it. George was restless this morning because he was wet, but he changed his pants more times today then he has since the stroke. So, that means more marked improvment. I'm thankful the internet seems to be working for now. I think I found an angle to use my latop where I can see it without throwing out my back.

@just4him Yes, even though it went down to 60 last night..it never got very cool in the house..which holds onto heat a bit. I have a lot of windows

I usually feel immense relief when my laundry is done. I didn't know icecream helped an upset stomach. Very tasty remedy.

Your good attitude is contagious.

I am thankful of being alive today, having a comfortable home, supportive people around me, and having a healthy body. There is so much I am thankful for and I can say it is endless. Cheers for more positivity in our lives.
