People who drink and drive are just plain irresponsible, they put their own lives and everyone elses at risk by getting behind the wheel. Why do you think taxis were invented? More people are drinking responsibly and that is good, If I'm going to drink I always make sure a non drinking friend can take me home before I start drinking, and visa-versa for my friends.

Amen to that. "Irresponsible" is the perfect word to describe a drunk driver.

They are ignorant!!! We all know what can happen if we drink and drive. Most of us know someone who has been in an accident that involved drinking. Some of us have even lost friends or family to drinking and driving. But people still do it. Why!?! Its so dangerous. I guess some people just think "it wont happen to me" But it will catch up to you. Please dont drink and drive!!

like drink period, or are DRUNK or Buzzed? If they've had a drink and are not affected, there's nothing wrong with it, but if they're drunk or even buzzed, I think they are very stupid, selfish, and irresponsible!

they should not drink at all, because some people dont admit when they had one to many.

Honestly...I think they are idiots. They are putting their life and everyone else's at risk and thats not a good thing at all. It's their decision to drink, but at least do it responsibly.

I can't stand it. Ask my husband and his friends. They know I don't like it and won't even consider doing it around me.

Personally, I think they need to be locked up. It's better than them killing themselves or someone else

I think the fools should lose their license permanently and have to watch films on accidents and the aftermaths to see what they were capable of doing by making that stupid choice to drive drumk.

I think people who get caught driving drunk should have their licenses suspended for a year the first time. The second time they get caught, they should be jailed and have their licenses suspended for 5 years.

I hate it. I think that people need to take into consideration that they are putting others at risk if they drink and drive. I had a friend that lost several family members that were driving two separate vehicles when they were hit from behind by a drunk driver.

drunk drivers - drunk
i felt that they are irresponsible about their own life as well as others. Once i was at the traffic light, the 2nd car from behind me knocked into the car behind me, who, in turn knocked into my car. I was so angry when I found out that the 2nd car's driver was drunk. He could barely even stand. I was lucky that i escaped unhurt!

I think people who drink and drive should not be allowed to be near a car. If they are not responsible enough to make a good choice, they should be punished.

yes i agree thanks for your response.
18 Nov 06
Be honest? OK :) They really shouldn't do it but at the end of the day, if there stupid enough to go out and drink when they know they have to drive, then it's there own stupid fault for doing so in the first place.

Some people who drink and drive are bad drivers, but some people who drink and drive actually drive better when drunk than when not drunk, trust me on this, speaking from personal experience.
