Depressing list of the top grossing movies of all time / myLot

Its not definitive but not far off, Marvel and DC comic book movies dominating the all- time list. Franchises are money makers for lazy multiplexes and so why would they not make them when digital technology can create pretty much any image or action scene. The tiresome Avatar tops the list, followed by one too many Avengers movies, Titanic, Spiderman and Star Wars etc...Barbie the biggest post Covid movie making the top 15.

I liked Thor! Marvel movies pan DC movies as they have the ironic humor. DC always a bit po-faced.

We've been watching a lot of Marvel movies lately. We watched a Dr.Strange one the other night and last night we watched the second Black Panther movie. I liked the first Avatar but not the second. I doubt I will ever watch the Barbie movie. I do enjoy the Marvel ones though.

I am surprised THAT is the list . . . depressing indeed. I like maybe a handful of those movies . . . but the rest - meh (not that I've seen them all, I actually don't want to see most of them
