It sounds like you had a laid-back day despite the rain! Subway footlongs with a coupon sound like a good choice. How was the rest of your day?

As I used to say to my dear mother of blessed memory, don’t smoke! (She listened to me eventually…didn’t smoke the last ten years of her life.)
I usually go to Subway in a pinch (such as when I’m on the road and can’t find anything else). I prefer Jersey Mike’s or Firehouse.

Tom always has the Subway Club with lettuce, tomato, and Mayo. This time I got the BMT with onions, tomato, and mayo..added my own Banana peppers at home...they never put enough on the sandwich.

We have coupons for Subway too....and KFC. I know hubby could go for some chicken. Have a good day.

Have never tried vinegar and oil..I know years ago we went to a place in Lexington KY called Zepplins.And they put oil and vineger on their Huge Zepplins. Always got the Pastrami. But have not had Subway with Vineger...might have to try that..it was good on that Zepplin.

@Ghostlady To me, for whatever reason, that's what makes a sub sandwich. But of course, everyone has their preferences. But I really enjoy it. Worth a try.
