WoW The Traffic

Didn't have much of a problem getting TO Grocery Outlet..stopped to get Tom cigarettes and me the NEW scratch off tickets..Then off to what we used to Grocery Outlet. Saw a family of tourists...Yes..sure they were tourists. After living down here for 30 odd years, I can almost smell them. LOL
Everything was fine until...I started home. I had 3 bags of ice, so I saw how bad the traffic was backed up and I went into Taxi Mode. LOL Brought back memories, and I went the back way how I used to avoid traffic. I don't mind SOME traffic, but I know that light that the traffic was stuck at, and I knew it would be atleast 2 more lights before I could get through there.
Even now, when I am just driving not in a hurry, I watch the lights, and I KNOW when the light will be red ahead of me. Have always watched lights more than traffic. I used to know how fast to go in order to not catch a red light ahead of me...there was only ONE light I could NEVER get through in town no matter the speed. I miss driving a taxi, but with all the stuff going on right now..glad I am not.

Have put some thought into that...but I would have to change the names...just like Vegas..what happens in a taxi...stays in the taxi. LOL JK

I like to go the grocery outlet too, but it isn't close to here at all, but some of the values make it worth while. I try to go though when I have business in that general area though. It makes it a much better use of gas.

Saturday I went to Walmart..found products I use Higher than last week..We like Jack Daniel's Pulled Pork BBQ..Walmart's price was about $8 last week...Saturday it was $10.88. Didn't buy it... Bought it at Grocery Outlet today for $7.88 plus 10%. So grateful that our Grocery Outlet is only 3 miles away.
