Got up an hour later than I was going to...finally got breakfast and dressed. Went to Walgreen's and got Tom a lidacane patch for his knee. Went to my lottery store and got gas and tickets. Went to Walmart.
The Walmart in LynnHaven is the 4th Largest in the World. Every bit of an eighth of a mile across. I entered on the Grocery side. I haven't been to that store in over a year. Just so big. Anyway, I wanted a cloth measuring tape. Could not see the Sewing section so I asked a lady employee.
She points on the other side of the store (of course) and tells me there's not much left over there as they are packing it up to move it in the store. So..not thinking ahead, I went walking to the area she pointed. 1/6th of a mile later, I found it. And found the tape. I turned around and started back to where I had been to finish shopping. Found a mop as well. That is one reason I wanted to go to that store, as it is always well stocked.
Got what I came for and headed to WinnDixie as I had decided to fix Shrimp Alfredo with spaghetti noodles for supper. And WD had Shrimp on sale for the weekend only.
Walked by a display of Hellman's Mayo on sale..$8.99..I was shocked. When I used to buy Hellman's it was and still is $5.84 at Walmart. Now I get BluePlate for $4.59. Anyway went to get my Cheetos that were on sale..didn't have my flavor. Went to get the shrimp, and realized I needed Parmasean cheese. Went to check out the Cheese..OMG..$4.29 for a bag of CHEESE! I get it at The Pig for 2.89. CRAZY! So I decided I would go to The Pig tomorrow. My right leg hurt so bad by then, that all I wanted to do was go home...which I did.
Took me an IBprofen 800mg tablet and though I am feeling no pain, was too tired to stand up and cook, so we had Wendy's tonight, and I will fix my Shrimp Alredo tomorrow night. Taking it easy tonight.

You should use a scooter in Walmart. You'll save yourself a lot of pain. Have a good day.

I used one of those years ago after a surgery..LOL...good thing the store wasn't busy...hated all the noise it made backing up. I really NEED to walk but need to do it in moderation.

Have no idea why once I knew where to look for the sewing section that I did NOT just stay where I was and get the things I needed there before trapsing off to find the sewing area. Would have saved me about an eighth of a milie. LOL

I hope you are rested now and in no pain anymore. We take three days to do all our shopping for the month. My husband's legs can not hold up for any more than one store at a time. We went to one store today and will go to one in the morning tomorrow.

I usually only go to one large store and maybe the Dollar General in one day, then take a day for any other store I go to, but being there in LynnHaven and all the stores I needed to go to within a 1/2 mile just couldn't resist. Truthfully every store except The Pig have franchise stores up there in LH that are ALL within 1/2 mile radius.
