It depends on what do you prefer, as you've said women look beautiful wearing saree,
but as a woman myself, I think I look beautiful if it makes me comfortable..
I can wear revealing and non revealing clothes.
women's preference on clothes does not depends on how men will see them

Well Jessa, good point again like what the doctor said above. Of course, preference is one thing and everyone do prefer a certain type of attire, no matter if you are a male or a female.
Talking about how men see them well that's a different point all together. I think, as a man, and the way I speak with other friends, they do appreciate any kind of women's attire. I think, it's their way of looking. Their respective. But I liked your thoughts.

Hahaha... We are all discussing things here, Jessa, not arguing. You can put up your point of view with all the freedom. I was just mentioning what we friends discussed.

I think every community have their own dress. Women look good in those native dresses

Rightly said doctor. But I was referring to the Indian traditional attire called saree. My personal opinion is that though the regional attires do make women look attractive and beautiful, saree is one thing that covers all over India. Right na? And because you are also from India you will know what I am saying. But you have raised a good point. Community-wise the attires do change and still the beauty doesn't fade away.

You described your mother that way, means she is an elderly figure in your house. My mother too never wore salwar suits. Always sarees. On the other hand, my wife wears all kinds of clothes. That's the generation gap, I'd suppose.

Speaking as a woman, I feel beautful when I can be comfortable in my own skin and take pride in what I'm wearing. Right now, I'm wearing a pair of shorts and a sleveless shirt. I am quite comfortable, and I feel very beautful.

No wonder Kayla, you said absolutely right. After all, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Not all women are comfortable in the same attire. For example, the one that you are mentioning right now, it's kind of to be worn when we are at home (please correct me if I'm wrong).

@abhi_bangal In the U.S. where I live, my clothes are considered casual wear. We dress like this in public, especially during summer months because we would burn up otherwise. (or at least I would). My atire also allows me to move freely in my wheelchair, too.

Yeah, your Florida place allows you that. But it won't be the same here in India. That's why I said, your current attire would be a fit in home. But because your geographical location is that way, it's okay with you.
And yes, I think that's why tennis and football players have those kind of clothes at they allow the players free movement.

It's all about what we, I mean the ladies, like to wear. Different individuals are comfortable in different attire.

I find women looked the most beautiful wearing a dress, not the mini one but a long dress or just below the knee or mid length. It makes them look very feminine and delicate. I myself feel more beautiful and confident when I wear a pretty dress.

That's quite true actually. The length that you are mentioning about doesn't look good noisy and loud. It's also not over exposing. So yes, the type you are saying actually brings out more beauty of ladies. And those women that maintain themselves good, are even more attractive.

That's what I said in one of my responses, that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. And everyone has his own take on this, because everyone admires beauty in his own way, isn't it?

I often think that it depends on age. Young women look nice in almost anything. At my age we must look for comfort instead of beauty.

That's maturity. I think young women really look beautiful in various attires. And as she ages, she must understand that it's time to wear clothes accordingly. But I don't know why, I'm just find women in sarees that one notch extra beautiful. Just my take on this
