Called the Greek Toe, where the big toe is shorter than the second toe. It symbolizes uniqueness and individuality and in ancient Greek culture, it was associated with intelligence, leadership, and beauty. It is also believed to indicate heightened intuition and some hidden talents, natural-born leadership, and even strong communication skills. It is named Morton's foot syndrome for Dr. Dudley Joy Morton who in the first half of the twentieth century studied the human foot. It is not caused by overuse or injuries but is actually an inherited trait. This is found in 22% of the population and 69% of the population with Egyptian Feet where the big toe is longer.

I didn´t know. When I take my socks out, I´ll check whether my toe is Greek or Egyptian.

@celticeagle I have never cared about my toes because they don´t hurt with shoes on.

This is all new to me. I've never heard of Greek Toe, or seen anyone with the big toe shorter than the second toe. I don't ever observe other people's bare feet. My big toes are longer.

Interesting. I have normal feet with crooked toes from years of wearing heels. Arthritis has caused my fingers and toes to go in all different angles. Have a good day.

@LindaOHio ........Oh, yes. I was in a fight in high school due to my friend having a boyfriend who was a real piece of work and had other girlfriends besides her. The girlfriend and my friend got into a fight and I went with her to be supportive. The girlfriend's friend was there and started punching me. I had to defend myself. I got a dislocated little finger out of it. Then years later I was working as a cocktail waitress and rammed my little finger into a chair when in a tussle with a customer. Those were the days.
