It's been a busy day for my phone.

So far I've recieved two calls from our ownership timeshare or whatever you want to call it, setting up a virtual appoitment to speak about changes. I'm all for listening, but I'm a tech nerd and can easily navigate a website. However, we're going to get hilton honors points and a points-free stay out of it, so we'll take it. In about an hour we'll have a video call. So, I'll have to get George and I ready for that. so that means tube feed and finishing my chores.
Today is laundry day and I got a late start. However, Turesday is always one of those days. the Monday load is usually the bigger of the bunch. So I guess I'll have to go do that.

I'm curious. Where is your timeshare if you don't mind my asking?? Have a good weekend.

Anywhere we want, but our favorite place is the Daytona Beach regency. But, basically we can go anywhere owned by Hilton, and/or exchange outside if we wanted to. The list is endless.

Well it's not your typical timeshare. It's more like a points system where you trade points to stay in places that would normally cost an arm and a leg. We haven't been able to use it this year because George isn't driving, but last year it saved us a lot of money.

I don't know what an ownership timeshare is. You rent somewhere and share the expenses with someone else? Is this right?

Basically, you buy points that you can use throughout the year. You can put them twords travel, you can use them to stay at resorts, hotels, etc. In some cases you can even use them to rent a car. There's an anual club or maintaince fee, however you want to look at it, but think of it like paying for a years worth of trips in advance at a heavily discounted price.
