The Lord signals a bad omen on Rath Yatra 2024

The " Ratha Yatra" 2024 which was held on the 7th of July 24 started with a mishap which can be taken as a bad omen. The heavy 3 wooden idols are carried or rather made to walk from the " Jagannath Temple " to the chariot which is called " Pahandi". While Lord Balabhadra's was being walked he fell on his face over the "sevayats"( the men who support and walk the idols). The sevayats were critically injured and had to be hospitalized. An old priest of the famous temple said that the ritual of offering food to the Lord's, idols before taking them out of the temple was skipped and therefore the accident happened which is taken as a bad omen.
