For me, the Gutenberg proyect is a true miracle as it allows me to read free online books, specially classics. I wanted to read Emma by Jane Austen again, after I watched the movie. I knew I had it at the second floor of my house but I did not want to climb the stairs. So I first checked online. And here it it. After I tell you about it I´ll start reading. You can´t get new books though but almost all the classics are here, specially those in English. See you, friends. I usually prefer to read a book than to see the movie. Only few movies have been as good as the books they were based on. What do you think about this?

I have found that I mostly prefer the books to the movie adaptations although I thought Pride and Prejudice was very good.

I think most of the books I have seen made into movies were not as good as movies

I have to agree with you but it does depend on the movie, There have been movies based on books that have disappointed me and others that I have been impressed by, Usually I like to read the book first and then see the movie watching how the characters come to life,
