I had to ask for some extra groceries as María called me yesterday and asked me if itt would be okay for me to have her visit me tomorrow.
I immediatly started to think about what to cook. When she invites me to her house, she treats me like a princess.
I have a piece of pork loin. I took it out to thaw but it is still frozen. I bet the kitchen is colder than the fridge
I have some curried rice I cooked 2 days ago but I don´t know if the 2 will be well together. The pork will go to the oven with onion and apples and covered with plum jam.
I won´t have too much time to cook because Claudia is coming in the morning to bring me my passport. And if that child (almost 60 years old) visits me, I must say alleluyah even if it is an errand.
I bought some Brussels´ sprouts and will also make a tiny lettuce salad if I have time. I wish I had white rice. But that can´t be helped now.
Do you think that I should put away the rice and make some white rice or mashed potatos?

I know. But I don´t want to be cooking when my visitor comes.

Mashed potatoes sound good but I know I have roasted potatoes with poik loin and they have tasted very good,

I think Maria is coming to see you, not to check out what you're giving her to eat. Enjoy her visit.

I'd opt for the mashed potatoes. Have a good visit and a good day.
