Bees are not doing well and neonicotinoids are the reason. They are 48 times more toxic to insects. They attack the nervous systems, harm their ability to navigate or find food, fight pests and diseases, and even reproduce.
The EPA is set to approve these toxic pesticides for another 15 years soon.
These insects are necessary to maintain a healthy ecosystem and our food system. Bees and other pollinators are responsible for 1 in 3 bites of food we eat. Most nutritious fruits, vegetables, and nuts could no longer be available to us if we lose these pollinators.
Habitat loss and climate change have already had an impact on the American Bumblebee. It used to be the most common wild bee species. But, in the last few decades, its population has dropped 90%.
Studies have shown neonic found in pregnant women who were tested. It is also linked to birth defects.
Pesticide companies like Bayer-Monsanto deceive the public and policymakers by using their massive influence. As is usual with these big companies it is all about the profit.

And, that is one thing Trump wants to do if he gets into office.

@LindaOHio ......I do too. But surely people who voted for Biden last time are still on his side and some more have gone over. That is what I am hoping anyway.
