I was just reading a post by our very own Horse around here. You know, that other musician guy in our little space here. It reminded me of a cover I did back in 2004 of Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams." To date, it remains one of the most full and elaborate covers I have ever done. I remember it taking me several days to put it all together from the guitar tracks, bass tracks and of course programming the drums, trying to get them as accurate as I could. I thought I would share it in case anyone might want to have a listen. I can't believe this was 20 years ago.

Almost 40 years. They formed in 1987. Imagine that, hey? Billie Joe Armstrong is 52.

@moffittjc I find it a bit surprising that Armstrong is older than me. For some reason, even back when I was first listening to them, I always thought he was younger.

You did an excellent job on that track. I've heard of Green Day; but I'm not really familiar with their music. Have a good weekend.
