A Powerful Storm

A powerful thunderstorm came through here Wednesday night. The cracks of thunder were pronounced and loud. Very impressive. We even got a little rain with it. I was very thankful for the rain and always love a good thunderstorm. I guess 600 residents and businesses had their power affected in downtown Boise too. We were lucky. When we have one of these strong storms it sure makes a person see how much we depend on electricity. Thank you Mother Nature for this force.

600 residents closer to downtown lost power. And they are doing this PSPS thing where the utility company turns off electricity of residents that are near fires. It is supposed to help keep fires down.

I can relate to dealing with storms that come to my neighborhood from time to time since the rain is good to keep the extreme heat to a minimum.
