Open House Today!

One of my friends from the boutique in Baton Rouge (actually it is right outside of Baton Rouge) sent me a message late last night that she was going to ride up her to the Open House at the new boutique I moved in. I had told her earlier that I would be going on opening day and would be glad to meet her there if she wanted to ride up. She decided to knock out the errands she needed to run locally and head on up this way. I met her right after noon at the boutique and we did a little browsing and shopping together. She loved the boutique! I introduced her to the owner and she told her that she would be interested in moving in if she ever decides to add more vendors. The store was crowded and most of the people were eating lunch which was provided by the boutique. We both just grabbed a snack of cheese and crackers. So what did we buy? My friend got some homemade scented soap and I got a big jar of local honey. I can't wait to open it up and see how sweet it is!
