Another tricky jigsaw for me

My sister-in-law volunteers in an op shop (thrift store). She found this jigsaw but didn’t buy it for me at first because she said it was too difficult. Vince insisted that she buy it and she gave it to me the other day. Vince thought it would keep me quiet for quite some time and I think he is right.
It really is very difficult. You can see I’ve done perhaps a quarter of it but it is very slow work. Luckily the back is divided into sections, each of which has a different colour. So I sorted out all the pieces that are green on the back and I’ve now done that section.
The rest of the puzzle will be more of the same but if I just do a bit at a time I’ll get there eventually.

I used to have my mom mesmerized, I would get really difficult puzzles, do them right side up, then flip the pieces over and do them back side up. It wouldn't take me any time at all to get them done. I would simply look at the piece shape and fit it into the puzzle. I still can do that, except that I have two cats that like to help and I have to find the missing pieces. I'm never sure where they will be.

Oh, I don't know... I think I could do it easily enough. It's not like a bunch of black cats on a black blanket... lots of colors.
